Kalindi & Pujit

A Vibrant Celebration: Capturing the Beauty of a Hindu Wedding at Bhaktivedanta Manor.

As a photographer, I've had the privilege of capturing events at various locations in the UK and worldwide. However, nothing could have prepared me for the beautifully intimate celebration that I had the honour of photographing at Bhaktivedanta Manor in Watford. The Hindu Wedding of Kalindi and Pujit was a vibrant experience, filled with cultural traditions.

As a regular attendee at the manor, photographing events at Hare Krishna Temple is always an easy experience for me. With its harmonious energy, the temple is a beautiful and serene location; every corner setting a picturesque scene. Despite the hovering clouds on the day of this wedding, we managed to create stunning couple portraits outside the temple, in its garden area. The gardens are well managed with a walking path, couples can easily avoid the wet grass and enjoy the experience of being photographed. The Bridal Room at Bhaktivendanta Manor also works as a perfect space to capture the bridal 'getting ready' portraits, as well as to capture family portraits.

At Frames by Disha, my aim is to capture the raw and genuine emotions at every event. I documented essential moments from Kalindi and Pujit's wedding, with a blend of creativity and candidness. The stunning and colourful mandap, intricately decorated by Shagun Weddings, led as the perfect stage for this wedding. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and joy as they performed the traditional rituals, including the pheras - which soon turned in a flower shower! The day concluded with a tearless, happy Vidaai - with lots of Hi5's and hugs and a serene moment with the Gods at the Mandir, during its evening Aarti. This was the perfect end to an unforgetable experience.
